Sustainability

Responsible Fuelling.
Transparent Standards.

Regulatory alignment is integrated into every procurement decision, from grade selection to documentation standards. Not a separate workstream. Not a marketing position.

Regulatory Frameworks

Frameworks we operate under.

Our procurement processes are aligned with the following regulatory requirements. This list reflects current applicable frameworks and will be updated as regulations evolve.

IMO 2020

Global Sulphur Cap

0.50% sulphur cap in force since 1 January 2020. All procurement is executed against compliant specifications unless the vessel has documented scrubber equipment.

MARPOL Annex VI

Sulphur and Emissions

All supplier engagements are conducted under MARPOL Annex VI documentation standards. BDNs and fuel quality certificates are collected and verified on every delivery.

EU ETS

European Emissions Trading

Shipping included in EU ETS from 2024. Documentation is prepared in formats compatible with MRV reporting for voyages within EU ETS scope.

CII

Carbon Intensity Indicator

CII rating implications can be factored into procurement guidance. Grade selection and stem sizing can be evaluated against a vessel's annual CII trajectory.

FuelEU Maritime

GHG Intensity Requirements

FuelEU Maritime requirements apply from 2025. We monitor developments and source compliant fuels where supply is established.

ECA Compliance

Emission Control Areas

0.10% sulphur limit applies in North Sea, Baltic Sea, North American ECA, and US Caribbean ECA. Confirmed before every stem in applicable areas.

Our Position

No greenwashing. Just progress.

The marine energy sector faces genuine and material regulatory change. Our role is to ensure that every procurement decision is made with full awareness of applicable requirements, and that every delivery is documented to support client compliance.

We do not greenwash.

Sustainability claims are made only where they are supported by verifiable fuel specifications and delivery documentation.

Compliance is operational.

Regulatory readiness is part of our execution standard, not a marketing position. Every delivery meets applicable requirements.

Documentation supports verification.

All fuel-related documentation, BDNs and quality certificates, is structured to support client compliance reporting and third-party verification.

Our Commitments

What we commit to, specifically.

Low-Carbon Fuel Supply

We actively source and supply biofuels, VLSFO, and other lower-emission marine fuels at major global hubs. As certified supply chains develop, we expand our low-carbon product range to meet client demand.

Regulatory Compliance Documentation

We provide full documentation packages supporting EU ETS reporting, CII compliance, and MARPOL requirements. Our documentation standards are designed to meet the needs of port state control and flag state inspections.

Emissions Reporting Support

We help clients track and report fuel consumption data in the formats required for EU MRV, IMO DCS, and other emissions monitoring frameworks. Accurate data from every stem we supply.

Supplier Environmental Standards

Our supplier qualification process includes assessment of environmental compliance, MARPOL certification, and waste management practices. We do not work with suppliers who cannot demonstrate basic environmental standards.

Alternative Fuel Readiness

We monitor the development of LNG, methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen supply chains. As these fuels become commercially viable at scale, we will integrate them into our product range.

Transparent Reporting

We do not make unverified environmental claims. Our sustainability commitments are specific, measurable, and tied to our actual operations, not aspirational marketing language.

Transition Fuels

Alternative and transition fuel sourcing.

We source and evaluate transition fuels in markets where supply is established and quality certification is available. Our approach is pragmatic: we do not promote transition fuels where supply is unreliable or documentation standards are insufficient.

All transition fuel procurement is documented against applicable sustainability certification requirements, including ISCC, RSB, and port-specific bio-blend certification frameworks.
